Performance problems today
For the second time this week an Apache process was eating up most of the systems memory and rendered the server nearly unusable. Heavy swapping and a CPU load of ~40 included. Responsible was "php Zotlabs/Daemon/Master.php" (Hubzilla).

I'm sorry. I will investigate this...

I'll check out the dev branch because there is an option to control the daemon. I hope this will work well.

The new setting is called queue treshhold. It defaults to 300 but you must find out what the best setting is for your hardware... You can also play with delivery interval, deliveries per process and poll interval...
